  • Autumn colours

Indeed, I pray for more days as beautiful as today was. It would have been such a waste of this day had I been sleeping all day along.Thank God for the from a friend who said he wanted visit Giforn and go to the Windmill museum. Due thanks to him and the other friends who joined, we had a lovely today, visiting the museum.
In particular, I saw this house there which looked like it had been taken out from my dreams! Absolutely fantastic location. Wish I would one day, be able to have a happily situated house. Here are some pics from today; the house, the windmills from different countries and the location, the leaves of the trees turning red and gold, the woods, the sunset; nothing could have brought a smile on my face except for this today, methinks. Hope your day has been just as wonderful. I know Mrs. F has had the same kind of day, absolutely delightful. ;)

  • Something strange happening in the sky and.....

I mean it! Today morning at about 4:30, I woke up suddenly cos I felt thirsty (I sometimes do). The window curtains were ajar but the window itself was closed. The first thing that met my eyes was a really shiny object in the sky. Shiny star! But this one sparkles a lot, I said to meself. I wondered if my eyes were deceiving me. Nope not a UFO, I'm not talking about it.

Then I remembered that they had been talking about some planet which would be very close to the Earth and I realised this must be it. :)
I took some pics then and uploaded them on my laptop a few minutes back, only to gasp. You want to know what it looks like? Click on the pic and try to view the 100% version. I am not sure if it can be seen properly out here. :(
(Sorry am going to take off the pics. Need space out here to post more)

The first image looks like a normal star but the in the second image, you can see a "4"in the sky. I am zapped. I showed the image to another friend and he mentioned that he saw something strange in the sky a few days ago too. It looked more like 5 small lines, drawn parallel to each other, in the sky. Anyone else seen something like this as well? 88|

In other news, I was happy to find that I was able to buy almost everything that I shall need for Durgapuja, which will start on the 12th Oct. I have decided that I shall fast for the whole day and after prayers every evening, eat fruits and drink water. It might be tough considering I've never been this strict with fasting before but I want to do it this time. I feel I've lost control of my feelings. I feel too content (if there is anything like that). Sometimes I wonder if I have lost the capacity to feel sad or if this is wholesome sadness. I would like to test it for myself. I know it sounds weird but there it is! I only hope I am able to do it for all of 9 days. Time I lost that jelly belly I have gained too!

Hope all is well with everyone.
