Yesterday night at 00:00 hours, when my parents called me to wish me a Happy Birthday, I finally got into the happy mood.
The whole day yesterday, I had been musing over the past..thinking about the things that occured in this last year of my birthday..the progress, the failures and had become a bit pensive thinking, I shall be 29..life runs and I stand still...what can i do to change it?
I went out for a cup of coffee with friends, came back and watched some football between Switzerland and Ukraine going on...upto that point, it looked borrrrring..no action, not even penalties! And I wanted the Swiss to lose..badly. But at the same time, didnt want to be around to see it.
So went for a walk along the Wedersee Lake. Came back at about 11 pm and thought..mmmmmmm...life has lost excitement..what do I do to pep it up? Felt loneliness crowding up on me.Thoughts like..oh dear..no one around to tease me, no one around to hug me and kiss me and tell me they love me.
Switzerland LOST the match and happy times started.
Then, my father called...to wish me..and in the next few minutes I was busy taking calls from friends all over...getting happier by the second. There are friends!! There are people who love me! I am NOT lonely..never!
And today, I will enjoy with my new friends in Germany..and thank you all my old friends..who have stood by me.
I came to work to find my colleagues wishing me, got flowers ( love flowers!!) and good wishes.
If the weather gets better, I will be doing a barbecue party, with close friends. If not, then sit with them in the house and put on some music..but one thing is for sure..am not sad anymore! I will dance the night away..I would be nothing after all, if there was no fire left in me! Yup..that's me...firelight.
